Fruit of the Spirit - Goodness

When I think of something ‘good’, I think of good food, good friends and family, and a good life – free from fear, persecution and hardship.

But goodness can be so much more than that. Goodness is usually shown best through actions, in someone doing something good.

James 1:17a tells us that “every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” This is the verse we explored in Liberty Kids this week.

God showed His goodness best in His actions. He GAVE us all the good gifts we have, and He SENT Jesus to be the best gift we’ll ever know! God has actually done things to demonstrate how good he is.

We have opportunities to act out those good gifts given by our good God. We can show God’s goodness to others by what we say and do every day. Each of us are unique and God will use each one of us in a special way to share His goodness with others.

Please join with the children of Liberty Kids this week and look for ways to show goodness to others << Test First Name >> – in both your words and actions.

We have such an amazing time together with the children each Sunday and we would love to invite you to be a part of it. If you enjoy hearing the incredible perspective that children have on God and His Word, if you enjoy laughing, playing games and sharing memories with God’s precious children, then please consider coming and joining us in Liberty Kids – even just for a visit or two, we would love to have you!

Have a great week.
