A Testimony of God's Goodness
Who loves a good testimony? I get so excited when I hear people share about how God has moved powerfully in their lives, or in the lives of their loved ones. Just before Easter, I received one such testimony from Mandy Southam.
You might remember that we prayed some time ago for Mandy's brother Peter, who was undergoing stem cell treatment for cancer. Below is Mandy's testimony of how God has moved in Peter's situation:
I would like to say a really big thank you to the community at Liberty for their prayers for my brother. My brother Peter is now in remission after having stem cell treatment at the Alfred.
He left 6 days early from his treatment and his first night home he cooked chicken nuggets for his family.
Last week Peter informed me that he has cleaned his house and the swimming pool.
This week he is planning a get together at Dromana for a family Easter celebration including the newest grandson.
Thanking you again for your support and prayers,
How encouraging is that, *|FNAME|*? We serve a mighty and good God don't we?
May this encourage you this week, whatever it is that you are facing in your life. God hears our prayers, He cares, and He sovereignly works in us and in our situations. Praise God!
Ps Joel Hawting
