Who Is Jesus?
One of the main reasons that Liberty Family Church exists is to share the
good news - the Gospel - about Jesus. We believe that the message of
Jesus brings hope to every person.
So just what is that message?
** We are all sinners, no matter how good we think we may have been.
No-one measures up to God's standard of perfection.
** Because we don't live up to God's standards, we all deserve sin's penalty - ultimate
separation from God.
** Jesus came to earth, being fully both God and human. He is the
only one who has ever lived up to God's perfect standard.
** Jesus gave His life to pay the price of humanity's sin, although He
didn't deserve it. He then proved that He was the perfect God-man
by coming back to life.
Now here's the really Good News: God says that because Jesus
died in your place, you don't have to!
So, this is what brings us together as a church family - not because we are "good" people
or "holier-than-thou" - but because we are all forgiven and restored to relationship with
God in Christ.
So what about you? If you have never turned to God, maybe it's time now. How?
Simply, accept the fact that you are a sinner and - just like everyone else - you need
a solution. Jesus has provided the solution - a complete pardon for your sins - but you
still have to receive it - simply, by placing your faith in Jesus. In your own words, tell
God you are sorry for your sins. Thank Him for sending Jesus to die in your place.
Ask Jesus to come and live in your heart as Lord and Saviour. Find a Bible believing
church - our church or some where else - where you can be encouraged and nurtured
in your new life with Jesus.
