WHO IS JESUS?
One of the main reasons that LFC exists is to share the good news about Jesus. Without the message of Jesus, our hope disappears. So just what is that message?

We are all sinners, no matter how good we think we may have been. No-one measures up to God's standard of perfection. |

Because we don't live up to God's standards, we all deserve the death penalty - ultimate separation from God. |

Jesus came to earth, being fully both God and human. He is the only one who has ever lived up to God's perfect standard. |

Jesus was put to death to pay the price of humanity's sin, although He didn't deserve it. He then proved that He was the perfect God-man by coming back to life. |

Now here's the good news: God says that because Jesus died in your place, you don't have to! |
This is what brings us together as a church family: not that we are "good" people or "holier-than-thou", but that we are all forgiven. It's what we have in common. If you have never turned to God, maybe it's time now. Accept the fact that you are a sinner, just like all of us, and you need a way out. Jesus has provided the way out, a complete pardon for your sins but you still have to receive it by faith.
