Romans is a great treasure trove of theological truth but it’s final chapter in particular shows us that the apostle Paul was interested in much more than just intellectual truths about God. He was intimately involved with people. He lived out his theology through the relationships he shared with brothers and sisters – in good times and in bad. He understood - as we all must – that there is both a vertical and a horizontal expression of a life with God.
